My start in life was in Michigan where I was inspired by my dad to become a civil engineer and land surveyor.  I’m blessed to be married to Cindy for 42 years, have twin daughters and 4 grandsons.  I have been a follower of Jesus for a long time and my ministry passion has been men’s discipleship.  My “hobby ministry” is world missions.  I’m currently the “Gateway Leader” for our church's ongoing work in Uganda, East Africa where I've made 10 trips beginning in 2007.
